Tooth Tip Hardening:

- ASBİLEK is using the most advanced technology for tooth tip hardening with the full automatic induction machine.
- Tooth tips are hardened depending on type of the material by means of optical temperature meter as the aimed hardness is 553 HRC (2/3 of the teeth). By flame hardening, this sensitively cannot be reached.
- In this method, tooth dips and body of the blade are not exposed to heat. Therefore, the risks of cracking and the braking of blades are minimized. This means elongation of the life of the blade.

Hardness of Body:

Thanks to our big heat treatment furnaces (for hardening) and tempering furnaces, the hardness of the body of the saw blades are optimized to 35(3) HRC to make the body stronger, more resistant to impacts, and the residual stresses are eliminated. This treatment cannot be performed by some manufacturers, because they don't have big furnaces, therefore body cannot be hardened, only tips can be hardened.
